12th Gold Medal for Brightwater Vineyards Pinot Noir

Brightwater Vineyards 2017 Lord Rutherford Pinot Noir has just been awarded a GOLD MEDAL at the New Zealand International Wineshow.

"This is great.” said Gary Neale of Brightwater Vineyards. "This is Brightwater Vineyards 12th gold medal for Pinot Noir and now means that every vintage of Lord Rutherford Pinot Noir since 2010 has received a gold medal.”

Nelson is starting to be recognised as a great New Zealand Pinot Noir region alongside Central Otago and Martinborough. We are extremely lucky here in that we can grow a range of grape varieties to a very high world class standard.

Medal results were released today. The trophies will be announced at the awards dinner on 25th October.
