The Nelson Tasman wine region is a thriving industry renowned for its high-quality yields and pure sophistication in the art of wine making.

Home to the first commercial vineyard in the South Island, Nelson Tasman has been producing outstanding wines since the first grapes were planted here in the mid-1800s by German settlers. The growers and winemakers of today stand on the shoulders of those who started in the region over 150 years ago and have received widespread recognition for their award-winning wine.

Visit one of the many boutique cellar doors in the region today and you’ll get the opportunity to ‘meet the maker’, as the passion for winemaking passes through the generations.
