This winter they’re offering a sensational mulled wine to get you through the heart of cooler months. Be sure to visit Rimu Wine Bar on the picturesque Māpua Wharf, or if you simply can’t make the trip, they’ve generously offered an at-home recipe for you to try!

 

Rimu wine bar’s mulled wine recipe

YOUR WILL NEED:

  • 4 Bottles of Māpua Pinot Noir

  • 5 Cinnamon sticks, 8 Cloves and 6 Star anise

  • 125ml of Brandy

  • 200ml of Maple syrup

  • 1 Orange - zest and juice

  • A fabulous group of lovely friends or family

METHOD

  • Simply pop everything (minus the friends) in a slow cooker on AUTO (or on the stovetop on LOW) for 3-4 hours

  • Remove the cinnamon sticks, cloves and star anise before serving

  • Enjoy winter’s most decadent and warming treat!
